Following proceedings in the Fair Work Commission on 18 September 2015, the Commission has issued two recommendations regarding provision of hard copy pay slips and the alleged over accrual of annual leave and rostered days off .
Menzies has agreed to adopt the Commission's Recommendations.
This means that:
- Threatened deductions from wages during the holiday periods will not proceed at this time. Instead your union and Menzies will conduct an audit to determine whether any overpayment has in fact occurred and if so the exact details of each overpayment;
- Current employees without access to a computer will be able to obtain hard copies of pay slips on request. Hard copies will not be available to employees employed after 18 September 2015.
